Daniele Chiari is an internationally acclaimed Italian chef and visionary culinary leader, currently serving as Culinary Director of the Saudi Arabian Government.
With over 23 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, he has become one of the most influential figures in promoting culinary diplomacy and cultural exchange through gastronomy.
The Story
Born in Genzano di Roma, Italy, Daniele grew up in a family of restaurateurs and bakers, where he developed a deep respect for tradition, quality, and the art of hospitality. His career began in prestigious establishments such as the Grand Hotel St. Regis and Hotel De Russie in Rome, later expanding internationally to the Netherlands, the UAE, Qatar, Principate of Monaco, Finland, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and the Seychelles.
As the Founder of Tastes Beyond Borders, Daniele created a global platform connecting chefs, cultures, and traditions through fine dining experiences, culinary events, and educational programs. His mission is to build bridges between nations using food as a universal language, where tradition meets innovation and heritage meets creativity.
Throughout his career, he has represented Saudi Arabia in the Club des Chefs des Chefs, collaborated with ALMA, Euro-Toques Italia, Dinner Incredible, and the Ministry of Culture, and led milestone events such as the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, Sirha Arabia, and Dinner Incredible Saudi Edition, uniting Michelin-starred chefs and Saudi culinary talents.
